RECRUITMENTFOR POST OF PROFESSOR, ASSOCIATEPROFESSOR AND ASSISTANTPROFESSOR SCHEDULEDTO BE HELD ON   11.08.2021  AT ESIC MEDICALCOLLEGE& PGIMSR, RAJAJINAGAR,BANGALORE(ON

CONTRACTUALBASIS FOR A PERIOD OF ONE YEAR)THROUGHWALK-IN­ INTERVIEW

ESIC Medical College PGIMSR and   Model Hospital, Rajajinagar proposed to fill-up the  vacancies of Medical Teaching Faculty in the  below mentioned  disciplines on  Contractual  basis   (For one  year)  through  Walk-in-Interview on  11.08.2021.   The details of vacancies and  reservation position is as under:-

1.         Post:   Professor



1.  Number   of'  vacancies   are - provisional    and    may    increase   or   decrease depen'tting on  actual  requirement.

2.  In  case   of non-availability   of reserved  candidate's   vacancies  will  be  filled against  any  other   category  to  meet   mandatory  MCI/NMC req~irement. 

ESIC reserves  right   to  cancel  the   recruitment   process  at  any   stage  at  its discretion  and   such   decisions  will  be  binding  on  all  concerned.

Candidate   intended   to   apply  for   multiple   cadres   in   same  department may   submit  separate   applications.

Age  relaxation  is  applicable  to  reserved  candidates   as  per  rules   in  force.

Candidates   claiming  reservation   on  grounds   of  OBC should  submit   the community   certificate   in  updated   original  as  per   Annexure  -  A,  as  prescribed vide      Govt.     of     India,     Dept.     of     personnel      and       training      O.M      No
36036/2/2013Estt.         (Res.]   dated    30.05.2014     failing    which    benefits     of reservation/   age  relaxation   will  not   be  given. Certificate  issued  in  other  format will  not   be  accepted   and    candidate   will  be  treated   as   general  category  for  all purpose.

The   EWS candidates    can   submit   EWS certificate   as   per   Annexure-I   of Govt,   of  India,   Ministry   of  Personnel,   Public  Grievances   &  Pensions,   DOPT Memorandum     No.    36039/1/2019-Estt         (Res)  dated    31.01.2019.     Proforma enclosed  as  Annexure  -1.


c.  In addition  to above, No other allowances like D,A, N.P.A,HRAetc. would be payable.     .
d. No Private Practice is allowed during the tenure  of service in ESIC.
e. Retirees from Central/State  Govt./PSU from the equivalent posts are eligible to  apply.     Persons   working  in recognized/f!.pproved Private   Medical Institutions   fulfilling   eligibility criteria  for  the post  may also apply.

4. TERMS OF CONTRACT

a.   Selected  candidates   shall  be appointed  on purely  contractual   basis  for the maximum  period  of one year  or till the  joining  of regular  faculty  whichever  is earlier.
b.  The Contractual  engagement  may be terminated  /  discontinued  on either side giving one-month  prior notice to this effect without assigning any reason.
c. Candidates   selected  to the  posts  of Professor,  Associate  Professor,  Assistant Professor have to deposit  an amount  of Rs. 85,000.00 as security  deposit. The security  deposit  will be forfeited in case  the  selected  candidates  resigns/leaves within  06  months  of reporting  or  non-fulfillment of one  month  Notice Period conditions.
d.   Other   terms   and  condition   will be  applicable    as  issued   by competent
Authority   from time  to time.
e.  This being 01 Year contract,  absence for period beyond 15 days will be treated as abandonment  of duty and the contract  will be terminated  without  any reason and security deposit will be forfeited.

5.   HOWTOAPPLY:

a.) Application shall be downloaded from the website ofESIC viz. esic.nic.in
b.) Selected Candidates  should  produce  all the original documents  in respect  of
~   the parameters  at the time of Reporting for duty.
c.) Shortlisted   candidates   who  fails  to  produce  documents     or provides  false information   or  any  other   action   contrary to  law  shall  lead  to  barring  the candidate  for the Interview and  shall lead to cancellation  of the  candidature   at any stage ...

"NO  SEPARATE INTERVIEW CALL LETTER WILL BE SENT"

6.     SELECTION   PROCEDURE:

a.  Selection  will be  made  on  basis  of interview  of candidates   which  will be conducted  by the duly constituted   Selection Board. The results  of the Interview will be uploaded  on' the  www.esic.nic.in and  no enquiry  or correspondence in this regard will be entertained.              .
b.  Selected  candidates   will  have  to join  immediately  after  receipt  of Offer of
Appointment.  '
c.   The final   selection   will be based purely on performance  in the  personal in,t.erview. 

7.    GENERAL CONDITIONS:

a.  Mere submission  of application  does not confer any right to the  candidate  to be interviewed.
b.  The applications  found to be incomplete will be summarily  rejected.
c.   Wrong   declarations/submission   of   false information  or any other action contrary to   law   shall   lead   to cancellation  of the candidature  at any stage.
d.  The candidates  should produce  No Objection Certificate (NOC)from present employer at the time of submission  of Applications or at the time ofjoining.
e.  A  candidate   should   submit   only  one  application   for  one  Post.     In  case,
candidate   wishes  to  apply  for  more  than   one  post  then   he/she    must   apply separately.
f.   Opportunity  of Interview given to candidates  will be on provisional basis.
g.  The candidates  who have applied  for higher post may opt for lower post. the during interviews in the same department.
i.   Canvassing in any form will be disqualification.
j. The ESIC  reserves  the right to cancel  the recruitment  process or decrease/ increase   the   total   number   of vacancies   advertised;   at  any  stage at its discretion  and   such decision will be binding on all concerned.
k.   No TA/DA will be admissible   for interview  or joining.
1.    No claim  for any  services  like PF, Pension,   gratuity,   Medical  allowances seniority,   promotion   and  leave will be admissible.
m. Teaching    faculty    is  eligible   for  only   01-day leave   per   month   after completion   of  month.
