Recruitment of various post in National Institute of Animal Biotechnology

Applications are invited from suitable candidates for filling up following positions against the DBT funded project entitled “Socio-economic upliftment of landless and marginal farmers of Yadgir district (an aspirational district) of Karnataka through goat rearing ” at the National Institute of Animal  Biotechnology  (NIAB),  Hyderabad.  (Project  Co-ordinator:  Dr.  Subeer  S.  Majumdar; PI: Dr. Pankaj Suman and Dr. Abhijit Deshmukh)

Project Associate-II (One post) Eligibility:

a.   MSc (Life Sciences/Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Microbiology)/Post Graduate Degree in

Business Administration (MBA) / Veterinary Sciences (MVSc) with NET qualification or,

b.   Non-NET-qualified candidates with post graduate degree in above mentioned disciplines can also apply; who will be paid as per DST guidelines.

Desired Experience: Candidate having 2 years’ experience of working on socio-economic aspect of rural development  and ability to develop nanocarriers for delivery of nutrient  will be given preference.

Age: 35 years (Relaxation is admissible in case of SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Government instructions)

Fellowship amount: Rs. Rs 35,000 + 24 % HRA as per the DST guidelines.

Project Associate-I (Three posts) Eligibility:

a. MSc (Life Sciences/Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Microbiology)/Post Graduate Degree in

Veterinary Science (MVSc) with NET qualification or,

b. Non-NET-qualified candidates with post graduate degree in Life Sciences can also apply;

who will be paid as per DST guidelines.

Desired Experience: Candidate with experience in Molecular biology/Genomics/Genome sequencing/Animal Genetics and breeding/ Nanotechnology and having expertise to work with large animal model will be given preference.

Age: 35 years (Relaxation is admissible in case of SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Government instructions)

Fellowship amount: Rs.31000/-PM+24% HRA as per the DST guidelines. 

Field Assistant (Four Posts) Eligibility:

Intermediate with Diploma in animal husbandry or veterinary sciences

Desired Experience: Candidate with experience in large animal handling, large animal breeding and management of goats with ability to speak English, Kannada, Hindi and Telugu will be given preference.

Age: 30 years (Relaxation is admissible in case of SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Government instructions)

Fellowship amount: Rs.20,000/-PM+24% HRA as per the DST guidelines

28-06-2021 and  the  last  date is 19-07-2021. Candidates must fill online application form at www.niab.org.in. Candidates are advised to fill the online application form in sufficient time before the last date to avoid last minute technical issues.

Suitable candidates will be screened, intimated through email and interviewed by duly constituted selection committee through online. Original documents in support of date of birth, educational qualifications, experience certificates are required to be submitted at time of joining.
