 ARUNACHAL  PRADESH PUBLIC SERVICECOMMISSION ITANAGAR::

ADVERTISEMENT

The Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission invites applications online from the citizens of India, for filling up of 7 (seven) posts of Veterinary   Officer,  Group- 'A' (Gazetted), under the Department of  Animals Husbandry &  Veterinary  ,  Govt.  of  Arunachal  Pradesh, Itanagar, in the  Pay Rs. 15,600-

39,100/+Rs. 5400/- (G.P) P.M. in level plus other allowances as admissible in the Arunachal Pradesh Govt. from time to time. The number of posts to be filled up is 7(seven). Out of 7(seven) posts, 05(five) posts are reserved for  APST candidates and 02(two)  posts are un-reserved. The vacancy position  is subject  to variation.  Any vacancy/post(s) if received from Animals Husbandry, Veterinary & Diary Development, Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh will be included and notified before the written  examination is held.

1.         HOW TO APPLY:

(a)  Before applying online, candidate must mandatorily carry out ONETIME REGISTRATION(OTR)on the Commission's website www.appsc.gov.in

(b) Candidates are required to apply online using the website www.appsc.gov.in.   Detail instructions for  One Time Registration (OTR) and Online Application  are available on the above-mentioned website.   The applicants are advised to submit only single application;  However, if due to any unavoidable situation, a candidate submits another/multiple  applications, then he/she must ensure that  application with  the higher Registration Ids (RID) is complete  in all respect like Applicant's details,  Photograph,  Signature,  Photo  10,  Fee etc.   The application  with  higher  RID shall be entertained  by the Commission. Fee paid against one RID shall not be adjusted against any other RID.

(c)  Those candidates who have already registered in OTRneed not register again and they can directly log in to fill up online form using their User 10 and Password.

2.         AGE LIMIT:

A candidate must not be less than 18 years and above 32 years of age as on 18/12/2021. However, upper age limit is relax-able to 5 years for APSTin accordance with the orders issued by the Govt. of Arunachal Pradeshfrom time to time in respect of Arunachal PradeshScheduled Tribe candidates.

3.         ELIGIBILITY:

The applicants must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Animals & Veterinary Science from a recognised University. However, candidates that have appeared or are appearing in the final year examination shall also be eligible to apply, subject to production of original certificate/mark  sheet at the time of viva voce/Interview.

4.         METHOD OF SELECTION:

The eligible  candidate will  have to  appear in the written  examination  in the following subjects followed  by viva-voce:

Candidates who secure a minimum  of 33% marks in each written  examination  paper and a minimum  of 45% of marks out of aggregate total  marks in the written  examination  papers shall be eligible for Viva-voce. However, of such eligible candidates, only a number three times the Number of Posts advertised  (Ratio of 1:3), in the order of merit,  shall be invited  for the Viva­ Voce/Personality  Test.

5.         Scanned Copies of Documents and Information  to be Attached/Uploaded.

(i)         Signature of the candidate on white paper with black ink pen (20-60 kb in jpg format). (ii)        Latest/Recent passport size photo (40-100 kb in jpg format)

(iii)        For final year students, Bonafide Certificate to be uploaded (maximum 1 MB in pdf format).

NOTE: Candidates should not use Mobile  Phone to apply online and should carefully  read and understand  browser information  before applying online.

6. The candidates who have been declared qualified in the written  examination will have to submit Xerox copies of the following  documents/information   to the Commission one week prior to the actual date of Interview/Viva-voce.

(i)         Recent passport size photographs.

(ii)        Self-attested Xeroxed copies of Degree certificates and mark-sheet issued by the Assistant Registrar/Registrar/Controller  of Examination/Vice-Chancellor of the concerned University to ascertain degree.

(iii)       Self-attested Xeroxed copy of Matriculation  certificate for proof of age issued by the Board

(iv)       Self-attached copy of classXII passed certificate & mark sheet only will be accepted.

(v)        Self-attested  Xeroxed copy of  APST certificate  for  APST candidates and  PRC/Aadhaar

Card/EPICfor candidates other than APST.

(vi)       All the supporting  documents submitted  by the candidates must be self-attested other­

wise the application will be rejected.

Qualified candidates will  have to produce the above mentioned  certificates and mark­ sheet/documents  in original at the time of IntervieW/Viva-voce,  failing which he/she will not be allowed to appear in the Interview.

N.B: In case there  are a large number  of applicants, the  Commission may conduct an Initial Recruitment Test (OMR Based Objective Type) on AH & Veterinary  Science Subject, to limit the number of candidates for the Written  Examination to 12 times the advertised posts.

7.           The decision of the Commission as to the eligibility or other-wise of a candidate for admission to written   examination  or  selection  will  be final  and  no  correspondence  or  personal  enquiry  will  be entertained.

8.         The syllabus has been made available on the Commission's website.

9.         CLOSINGDATE: 18/12/2021 till 1600 hours.

10.       EXAMINATION FEES:Candidates are required to pay fee of Rs. 150/- for APSTcandidates and Rs.

200/- for other than APSTcandidate through online mode only.

11.       A candidate who is or has been declared by the Commission to be guilty of: A.   Obtaining support for his/her candidature by any unfair means or,

B.  Impersonation or,

C.    Procuring impersonation  by any person, or

D.  Submitted fabricated documents or documents which have been tampered with or

E.  Making false or incorrect statement or suppressing material fact or information  or

F.     Resorting to any other irregular or improper means in connection with his/her candidature for the examination or

G.  Using unfair means during the examination or

H.  Writing irrelevant matter, including obscene language or pornographic matter in the scripts or

I.     Misbehaving in any other manner in the Examination Hall or

J.    Harassing or doing  bodily  harm to  the  Supervisory Officers/lnvigilators/Staff   employed  by the

Commission for the conduct of examination or

K.  Violating any of the instructions issuedto the candidate along with their Admission Certificate/Call Letter permitting them to take the examination, or Commission or as the case may be attempting the Commission of all or any of the acts specified in the foregoing clauses by a candidate may, in addition to rendering him/her to criminal prosecution be liable:

i. To be disqualified by the Commission from the Examination for which he/she is a candidate or

ii.      To be debarred permanently or for specified period.

a.   By the Commission from any examination or selection held by them. b.   By the State Government from any employment  under them and

iii.      If he/she is already in-service under the Government, disciplinary action under the relevant rules shall be instituted.

iv.      Provided that no penalty under these rules shall be imposed except after:

a.   Giving the candidate an opportunity  of making such representation  in writing  as he/she wishes to make in that behalf and

b.   Taking the  representation  if any, submitted  by the candidate within  the period allowed to him into consideration.

c.   Provided further  that  if any candidate found to have been debarred by any other

Commission  the  candidate  shall stand  so  debarred  for  the  purpose  of  this

Commission.
